The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
